What is LOVE?

What is LOVE? most people believe on love at first sight, some people don't. I know many of us has our own definition or explanation about love. Is love really a thing that you have to sacrifice to make the person you love happy? or other way around? They said If you love someone set him free, it it comes back it is yours, and if doesn't it is never meant to be. It's sad but it's true. If you love someone you have to take the risk, you have to sacrifice, you have to accept the pain that it brings in you. It is better to love and lost, than never had love at all.

Always REMEMBER this:

I love you is a powerful phrase and saying I LOVE YOU is a big step in any relationship. Learn the right time to say I LOVE YOU and give yourself the best chance of hearing " I LOVE YOU TOO"

Today is the day most American people celebrate by gathering at home with family or friends for a holiday feast.

Many of us step backward and think of what we should be thankful.

I am very thankful for many things:

I am thankful to God for the blessings that he has given me all way round. Thankful for my family is fairly healthy, thankful for my husband's never ending support. Thankful for my friends that is here with me always. I am so much thankful for everything that has happened in my life.

Now, can i have some turkey?

Cheating

Do you believe in cheating? It is a harsh word and yet so many people try to cheat to their partners. Why do people has the urge to cheat? Do they are not contented with their partners or they are just so numb not to feel that their hurting anyone's feeling. Having a partner in life is such a wonderful thing to know that you are now committed. But why need to cheat? Many said that they are not ready for a commitment, but why go for a commitment just to hurt somebody? OMG! in this crazy world, so many crazy people.

Is cooking for me?

"The way to a man's heart is through his stomach" Do you believe that? If you ask me, no way! I don't believe that. When i got married I was nothing, I don't know how to cook. For the 1st year of marriage all fast food, frozen food you can see in the fridge. I know that is not cool.

I don't know, what happened. I just look at the website www.cooks.com and there I can see my self reading, printing all those recipes there. One time I just see myself in the kitchen cooking for my husband. It is a different feeling that you eat your own cooking. Cooking for me makes you feel a complete wife. I gonna take back my word "YES i believe that saying 'the way to a man's heart is through his stomach" I think my husband love me more... and YES, cooking is for me!

CPR

Hey guys, I'm back. I wasn't able to visit my blog for a week it's such a busy week for me. We do all stuff at school.

Last week I just take my CPR test, and luckily I passed it. It feels relieving knowing that I can do it. At first, I was nervous but then I overcome with it. It's confusing though. But, just bear in your mind the steps so that you will not forget it. Helping others is an achievement for me.

My Module 5

Hello guys! Now that we just started a new Module which is the 5th module. I think this is more harder compare to the rest of the module that I've finished in the past months. In this mod we get to learn about CPR and Phlebotomy (blood drawing). The vacutainer, syringe draw and the butterfly. I've already learned the vacutainer and to tell you I messed up with that, honestly it made me scared at all. But in this mod I have to learned everything in order to pass it. Also theres one more module for me to go and I have to go to externship. As we all know during the externship that is the time that you can show everytyhing you've learned from the school.

Hopefully, I can made it with an A like the rest of the modules.

I just can't wait to share you guys this video. I watch my Filipino show almost everyday, but this one really catches my attention. This guy is super talented in terms of his voice. For me, he is one of the best "impersonator". I hope this show will give him a break, give him a chance to show more of his talent on Television. As far as I know, this noon time show has helped many people out.

For Filipino Abroad

hey, my fellow filipino people. I just wanna share to you guys about this site. I know people abroad missed the filipino shows back home (Philippines). Some of us here in the states has subscribed TFC. In my case, I told my husband to cut off our TFC ( i am not telling you to cut off yours ok!) its because I can watch my favorite tagalog shows through online. So that's it! can't get enough with tweety bird

I know we have our own cartoon character. In my case, I just loveeeeeee tweety bird! my friends told me that I am old enough to be a fanatic of tweety bird. I like it and my husband told me to GROW UP! I just laugh at him though. I have plenty of tweety bird collections.

Funny Job Experience

Having use to have a job most of the time it's like a daily routine for me. Now, that I am a full time student I feel like getting a job even just a part time. My class will last only for four hours and the rest of the day, I am free. To fill up my free time I need to get a part time job.

So, I applied a job in one of the Clothes Store close to my place. Luckily, I was hired on the spot. I felt happy about it because that's what I wanted. My first few hours run so smooth and fine, my co-workers are seem nice and they help me a lot. (my first time in a cash register job). Even that was my first experience having that kind of job they put me on everything not only on regular purchases counter but also in customer service includes returns & exchange etc. having that kind of experience made me think people that works like that is not a joke. You can encounter all different kinds of people, you know what i mean?

This job made me surprise, I have to left work at a certain time but you can expect the unexpected things to happened. I stay for three hours more just for what they called "GO BACKS" I'm pretty amazed about that although the company explained it to me.

Tell me if this is terrible? The next day I called the company and I told them that I will quit. Don't get me wrong I quit, not because of the work that I did or because I am lazy, BUT I quit because of the time that I have to spent. By that experience, I was late from school the next day and that made me make up some hours. My hubby said "You got a right decision to QUIT" is it funny experience?

~ away from home ~

Family is the basic unit of society. Everyone needs a family to live on! I am away from my family for almost 3 years now. At first, I felt empty knowing that I am away from my family specially to my mom. Now, I make it sure that I can contact them as long as I can just making sure all things all right. Missing someone is not easy, it is a feeling that you have to fight. Fight for depression and for loneliness. Better now a days, that the technology hit up to the highest level we can now see them through internet by using a webcam. But even that, i still miss them.
Everyday I pray that GOD give them healthy life. Stay away from danger. I will do everything for my family specially to my mom. She is the reason why I see the wonderful Mother Nature.

OBAMA's PLAN

Now, that he was chosen as the new president he has made his plan for the country. Hopefully by this, things change for the better. For you, PRES. BARACK OBAMA congratulations! and good luck!

OBAMA declared as the 44th President

Election is yet over. BARACK OBAMA won against JOHN MCCAIN. OBAMA, is the 44th President in United States of America. For the record, he is the First ever African-American President. Me and my husband was watching CNN news, and it was so amazing watching those people in their happy tears. You can really see their happiness on their faces.

When I heard OBAMA's speech it made me feel that YES WE CAN! change America for the better if we guys united. No matter what color, race, sex, gender. If we just be united YES WE CAN! make AMERICA better.

FRIENDSHIP BOND

HMMP! Friendship bond? Yes you hear it right. Me and my friends bought a necklace that we consider it as our bond of friendship. Actually, we did not really plan to have it. It just happened that we went to Downtown L.A and look at some jewelries. We saw it, and we love to buy it and that was how it started. Everyday, we gonna wear that and for those who forgot to wear will got a "harsh" word not really harsh we just teasing each other, to have fun you know! Our necklace is not that expensive but the sentimental value that mostly counts. Our necklace stands for the solidarity of our friendship. Sharing problems, and happiness made our friendship more stronger and knowing each other deeply. Having good friends in your life is considered an achievement. Many people said that they dont need friends but I think thats not right you need friends no matter what. As the saying goes "NO MAN IN AN ISLAND" you cant live alone, you need a friend!

The Election Day (11-4-2008)

Here comes the Election! OBAMA or MCCAIN? DEMOCRATIC or REPUBLIC? that would be the choice you don't wanna miss! Vote for the right person and who will be the next president that gonna help the country for the better. The president that thinks what will happen now and in the future. Think twice before deciding who you gonna vote because your vote really make a big deal.

VOTE for who you want to be the next president and dont let nobody try to influence you. Vote on your own freewill. VOTE WISELY!

Driving

I just wanna share about my experience on getting my drivers license. Actually, i just got my drivers license a month ago. You know, how happy I am? so much happy! I can't believe that I passed it knowing that I driving was my best failure in life. I've been trying to get my drivers license a year ago but I think its not about time to get it or maybe I am not ready at all.

I enroll into a driving school for about four sessions. After those sessions, my husband taught me how to drive good specially doing all that backing up. I really had a hard time doing those things. So much tears i spent on driving. Crazy things that happened. There was a time that I really wanna give up and thinking that I just gonna take the Metro Bus everyday. But, I think God is always with me, It just come to the point that my guardian angel whispers at me that "I have to take the behind the wheel test drive" because my driving permit is almost expire. So, a week before my permit expires I took the driving test and finally I MADE IT!

Now, I can say that being depressed and hopeless cant make you feel better. In fact, It can lose your self confidence and self-esteem. Just practice and practice more, and it made you perfect! Now, I drive all the time to school. Happy driving!

Halloween

Time went so fast, we just celebrated halloween. I saw kids bringing their little, cutie baskets full of candies from their TREAT or TRICK! I love seeing them in their lovely costumes and knowing that they really enjoying and have so much fun.

We spent our halloween in West Hollywood with our friends & cousins. It was amazing to see all kinds of costumes, some made you scared and some made you feel that you are in a fantasy land seeing all those fairy tale outfit. I dressed up as a Little Kitty (hehe!) that was my very first time celebrating halloween with my costume. At first I felt awkward but when i saw all the costumes it made me feel that my costume is nothing compared to those people in west hollywood and that made me comfortable hanging around in the parade. Next time, i have to think what i gonna wear and what i wanna be in the next halloween.

Being a student

Being a student…

I am a student… yes! i am… and it is not easy to be one, you need a lots of things to do to be a good student. You must be a determined, focus, responsible in everything you are doing towards school. Most specially give so much time for STUDY. Yes, STUDY is the BEST POLICY in a students life.

I am a nursing student and i am happy with it. At first, im kind a scared of what gonna happened in school so much hesitation at all. But, so far i can say that i am doing great at school. I have perfect attendance awards, and most specially i am one of the honor roll students. Everytime i think about hesitation, fear and everything, i cant imagine those days thinking about it, because i really pass all that emotions, and now i can say that I MADE IT!

Be focus and just do the good routine as a student and you too can make it! all you know, you get there! and all is worth it! (”,)
